At Munster Bovine (“MB”), we prioritize the protection of your personal data. We are committed to ensuring that your data is secure and handled in compliance with the latest data protection legislation. Purpose
This policy establishes general privacy requirements for information captured or generated by Munster Bovine operations, systems, network devices, or communications, including systems and devices involved in the transmission and storage of voice data. It further delimits conditions where Personal Identifiable Information (PII) may be disclosed, in compliance with GDPR Articles 5(1)(c) and 5(1)(b).
Scope
This policy applies to all Munster Bovine staff that create, deploy, or support Munster Bovine gathered or processed information, ensuring compliance with GDPR Articles 15-22 regarding data subject rights.

We aim to provide the best possible service, which requires the collection of personal data for certain processes such as service provision and inquiries about our services and products.
The data we collect may include
Personal information (name, address, email, phone numbers).
Information from our Customer sign-up form.
Data related to the provision of our services and customer surveys/offers.
What we do with your data
Primarily we use the data we collect to ensure we are providing you with the best products and services that meet your specific needs, and to deliver more efficient account management.
We also use it to keep you updated on changes, provide promotional materials, manage orders and invoices, carry out obligations, perform credit checks, and analyse data to improve services.
Your Personal Data and Third Parties
We sometimes engage other companies and individuals to work on our behalf for the provision of Services to you. For example, to process information, analyse data, collect debts and conduct market research. We contract with all third parties to whom we give your information for these purposes to keep your information confidential and to respect the law on data protection.

We may transfer your personal information outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) to help us provide your products and services. We expect the same standard of data protection is applied outside of the EEA to these transfers and the use of the information, to ensure your rights are protected.

Each time you receive marketing information or a message, you have the option to decline to receive further marketing information from us (opt-out). We may therefore contact you by post, phone, sms and email about our products and services. Existing Customers may be contacted electronically with information about similar goods and services.
How long we keep your Personal Data
We retain your personal data as long as necessary to provide services, manage relationships, and comply with statutory obligations. Data will be safely destroyed once retention timeframes expire.
Controlling your Personal Data
You have the right to opt out of marketing at any time, correct inaccuracies, or withdraw consent. Requests can be made to the Data Protection Officer, Munster Bovine, Ballyvorisheen, Mallow, Co. Cork, or via email at dpo@munsterbovine.ie.
Accessing your Personal Data
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 as amended and GDPR. Requests can be made via email or in writing to the Data Protection Officer.
Enforcement
Staff members found in policy violation subject to investigation may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
